A.S.A.P. Mortgage Cuts Ribbon At New Croton Offices

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- A.S.A.P. Mortgage Corp. marked the opening its new offices in Croton-on-Hudson recently with a ribbon-cutting and lunch that were attended by county, state and local officials.

The branch, its fourth in Westchester, is located at 125 Grand St. in the village.

Those present at the Friday, Feb. 10, ceremony included: Charles S. Lesnick, Esq., deputy counsel at New York State Homes and Community Renewal, the state’s housing agency; George Oros, chief of staff to Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino; Sen. Terrence Murphy (R-Yorktown); Croton-on-Hudson Mayor Greg Schmidt, Croton-on-Hudson Deputy Mayor Bob Anderson, Croton-on-Hudson Trustee Ann Gallelli, Deb Milone, executive director of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce; Nancy Stingone, executive director of the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce; and Margaret Primavera, public relations manager for the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce.

The lunch was held at Fino, a restaurant in Croton-on-Hudson.

A.S.A.P. Mortgage Corp. was established in 2001 and is owned and operated by Irene Amato.

The company is currently licensed in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

It also has two offices in Cortlandt Manor and one in Yonkers.

Nancy Meserole, who will be running the Croton-on-Hudson branch, thanked Amato for “believing” in her and for providing her with the opportunity to expand into Croton-on-Hudson.

Meserole has worked for A.S.A.P. for seven years.

Amato said A.S.A.P. would bring “boutique mortgage shopping into the heart of the historic village of Croton-on-Hudson.”

She added she was “thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful close-knit community” and was “thankful for all the continued support.”
