In a recent statement, Feiner said he was pleased to see such activity along Route 119 at the former Greenburgh Health Center, its surrounding buildings and the Joyce Leslie Building near Town Hall.

Feiner said the Greenburgh Planning Board has approved a plan that will demolish three vacant buildings -- including the former Health Center -- to make way for a 15,000 square-foot building that will house a Harbor Freight Tools store.

Demolition at the site is to be complete by October while construction of the new building ought to be completed by July 2017, Feiner said.

"This new development, combined with the major façade upgrade to the former Joyce Leslie building ... will enhance this portion of Rt. 119," the town supervisor said.
