The Greenburgh Town Board Tuesday passed a resolution referring a special permit application by Redding Railroad Frozen Yogurt, which operates as Peachwave Self Serve Frozen Yogurt. The store will be located at 228 East Hartsdale Ave.
"This is great news. I remember the years when the avenue had many vacancies," Supervisor Paul Feiner said in a statement. "At one point almost half of the store fronts were vacant. Once the new Yogurt store opens up the avenue will be fully occupied--for the first time in many years."
The shop is scheduled to pen in June of 2013, the company announced on its website. Other Peachwave locations are scheduled to open this year on Purchase Street in Rye, South Moger Avenue in Mt. Kisco and Main Street in Armonk.
