Under a new 30-year lease with Million Air, the county granted expansion of the company's facilities on 22 acres at Westchester County Airport in Harrison.

County government officials said projected revenue to the county will increase from approximately $60,000/year to about $320,000 annually in the next 40 months.

In 2020, projected revenue will increase to about $780,000, with annual increases thereafter, county officials said on Tuesday.

As part of the deal, Million Air will invest about $30 million in capital improvements at the County Airport, including a new hangar and new terminal space -- all of which reverts to county ownership at the end of the lease. The new operation is expected to add about 40 new jobs.
