Gayle T. Williams is a community executive with the American Cancer Society, covering Westchester and Rockland counties. She has been a journalist for more than 20 years, having worked as an editor at Consumer Reports and as a reporter, ombudsman, and an editorial writer with The Journal News. Gayle is a graduate of Fordham University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She lives in Greenburgh with her husband and two sons, and is an active member of New York Covenant Church of New Rochelle, and is a member of the African-American Advisory Board of Historic Hudson Valley.
