Attendees will learn how to gather fresh rainwater for gardens and turn food scraps and garden waste into rich compost to build up soil.
A tree will also be planted in recognition of Arbor Day, courtesy of Bartlett Tree Experts.
Other activities include sun-powered music and a solar cooking demonstration by Solar Punch.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
Event admission is free, but some activities require a small fee.
