Dance Under The Stars Every Wednesday In White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- OK, all you twinkle toes, get ready to boogie the night away this summer in the heart of downtown White Plains.

Music and dancing under the stars will draw crowds this summer to Renaissance Plaza in White Plains.

Renaissance Plaza will rock out with music and dancing each Wednesday, starting at 7 p.m. the city said. The free events run until 9 p.m.

The plaza is at the intersection of Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street.

There will be a different act each week, the city said.

The schedule is as follows:

July 8: Larry Steven’s, classic rock to pop.

July 15: Larger Than Life, boy band tribute.

July 22: McLean Avenue, Irish Celtic and rock.

July 29: A special concert evening featuring a Classic Car Show sponsored by The Antique Auto Club of America (Westchester Region) and a tribute to Billy Joel by Captain Jack. To be held on Court Street.

Aug. 5: Back to the Garden, Woodstock tribute.

Aug. 12: Michael Tate’s 3D Rhythm of Life, Latin soul.
