Fall Festival Comes To Greenburgh Nature Center

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Scarecrow building, pumpkin carving, pumpkin painting, cider making, scavenger hunts, tractor rides, tree swings and animal greets is just some of the fun-filled activities that will be offered at Greenburgh Nature Center's Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If pre-registered by Friday, Oct. 11: members will be $5, non-members are $10 (on-line registration only).

On the day of the event, the fee for members will be $8, non-members $15. There is also a $5 fee per pumpkin and $2 fee per scarecrow building.

Scarecrows are left at the center and used at the center's Scarecrows & Pumpkins Parade on Oct. 26. Food available for purchase by ShopRite Scarsdale, which donates all of the proceeds to the Greenburgh Nature Center.
