GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Public Library Foundation is hosting its 5th annual Westchester County amateur photo contest and the deadline for submissions is Monday, March 31.
The contest is open to amateur photographers who are residents of Westchester County.
Photographs accepted into the competition will be on exhibit in the Howard and Ruth Jacobs Family Gallery at the Greenburgh Public Library from Friday, May 2 through Thursday, June 12.
Prizes will be awarded at a reception at the library on Saturday, May 17.
The contest is juried and offers prizes:
Adult category: First prize $300 Second prize $200 Third prize $100
High school student category: First prize $150 Second prize $100 Third prize $50
Photographs must be submitted digitally and should be sent as jpeg attachments via e-mail to photocontest@greenburghlibrary.org.
Submissions must be made in accordance with the contest rules as certain restrictions do apply. There is no entry fee or application fee for selected photographs.
