Casselman has enjoyed a long career as an opera singer in both the United States and the opera houses of Europe, having sung more than 60 roles. She was awarded the Distinguished Artists Award for her performance of Salome in Philadelphia and was nominated for "Singer of the Year" by the Opernwelt for her performance of Isolde in Budapest.
Haeseler, a SUNY Purchase graduate and former Westchester County resident, will perform and invites audience participation in the opera choruses of Bizet's Carmen.
The Greenburgh Public Library is located at 300 Tarrytown Road in Elmsford.
