Greenburgh Library Hosts Talk on Homebuying, Mortgages

GREENBURGH, N.Y. --  Gerald M. Calvario, vice president of Residential Lending for CMS Bank, will discuss the ins-and-outs of homebuying and qualifying for a mortgage at a free seminar on Tuesday, April 8, at the Greenburgh Public Library.

The Greenburgh Public Library is at 320 Tarrytown Road.

The seminar, which begins at 6:30 p.m., is part of the library’s Money Smart Week, which is designed to help members of the community manage their personal finances.

Calvario will share his insights into whether it makes sense to own or rent, how to prequalify for a loan, title closing and other important issues for potential homebuyers.
