The Greenburgh Nature Center is a 33-acre woodland preserve with trails, a pond, gardens, a playground, and outdoor animal exhibits, including a birds of prey aviary.  The indoor exhibits include a live animal museum with over 100 specimens, exhibit areas focusing on nature and the environment, a greenhouse with botanical exhibits, and a gift shop. The Scarsdale Golf Club and Greenburgh Nature Center have mutual roots dating back to the early 1900’s when Dr. Lewis Morris, a wildlife enthusiast and founding member of the Golf Club, purchased the Nunataks property for his weekend retreat. His home, built of stone quarried on the property, is the current “Manor House” and cornerstone of the Greenburgh Nature Center. Those who wish to may donate merchandise for golfer gift bags, game and contest prizes, and/or for the silent auction; donations can include actual items, gift cards, sporting events or lessons, and professional services. To reserve a spot in the 1st Annual Greenburgh Nature Center Golf Outing, go to the Center's website to sign up. For questions or additional information, call 914.723-3470 or email.
