GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The  Greenburgh  Parks and Recreation Department will be offering two Zumba Gold classes for senior citizens beginning in January at the Multipurpose Center in Anthony F. Veteran Park.

Zumba Gold is a dance-fitness class that is friendly and fun. It takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of active older participants. What stays the same are all the elements for which the Zumba Fitness party is known -- zesty Latin and international music, including rock n roll, cha-cha, salsa, meringue, the exhilarating, easy to follow moves and the invigorating party-like atmosphere.

There will be a free trial class on Friday, Jan. 10, from noon -12:30 p.m. Registration is required for free trial class.

Listed below are the dates and times for both sessions:

Zumba Gold 1
Tuesdays – 10 sessions

Time:  Noon until 12:45 p.m.
Fee: $40 for residents

Zumba Gold 2
