Greenburgh Parks, Recreation Announces Parent/Child Valentine's Dance

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- The Greenburgh Department of Parks and Recreation has announced its upcoming annual parent/child Valentine’s dance to be held at the town's Multipurpose Center at Anthony F. Veteran Park on Friday, Feb. 6.

Anthony F. Veteran Park is at 11 Olympic Lane, Ardsley.

Children in grades kindergarten through fifth-grade are encouraged to bring a parent or adult relative/friend and enjoy a wonderful evening of music and dancing.

Participants will have the opportunity to have their picture taken and receive a copy by email after the event.

There is a registration fee of $5 per person in advance, and $10 per person on the day of the event.

Pre-registration is required. Tickets may be purchased Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Registration Office, which is at Anthony Veteran Park. The advanced registration deadline is 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5.

A snow date is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7.
