GREENBURGH, N.Y. – The Greenburgh Public Library will hold a special event featuring a panel of experts who will share their expertise to help you take control of your job search.

“What Can You Do to Take Control of Your Job Search? Tips and Strategies From the Experts,” will be on Thursday, March 26 from 10:30 a.n. to 12:30 p.m. at the Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.

The panel will share their expertise in these areas:

  • “Personal Branding,” Melanie Szlucha, www.redincllc.com. Identify your skills, your personal story, transffering your talent to different careers, industries and job sectors, and putting it all together;
  • “Your Package: Using LinkedIn Effectively to Look More Amazing,” Marc W. Halpert, Connect2Collaborate, www.connect2collaborate.com. Share information with your personal learning network, join and participate in groups, and search and find jobs;
  • “Thinking Outside the Box,” David Volkman, Wealth Partner Advisors. Developing your network strategy, maintain the right philosophy and expectations, keep your ears tuned in for opportunities, and the 3R's: Read, Research and Review.
