The crash happened on Route 20 (Southbridge Street) in Charlton around 11 a.m. when a 2008 motorcycle hit a 2015 Subaru Legacy as it turned onto the road, the Worcester District Attorney's Office said.

Joseph Tomlin Jr., 25, of Sturbridge, was identified as the man driving the motorcycle.

Diane Dwyer, 58, of Webster, was a passenger in the Subaru Legacy, officials said.

Sturbridge Road was closed for nearly four hours as police cleaned, cleared, and investigated the crash.

Authorities have not said who was at fault in the crash. Police are investigating the wreck and the circumstances leading up to it.
