Port Chester Wrestling Going to Mid-Hudson

LAGRANGELVILLE, N.Y. -- John Guido and Joey Rodrigues lead Port Chester into the 46th annual Mid-Hudson Wrestling Tournament Tuesday and Wednesday at Arlington High School. The Rams, along with Yorktown, are the only two Westchester County teams competing. The 16-team field also includes Hewlett(LI) Newburgh, Rondout Valley, Beacon, Highland, Valley Central, Brookfield (Ct.), John Jay-East Fishkill, R.C. Ketcham, West Springfield (Ma.), Cornwall, Kingston, Red Hook and Arlington. Wrestling begins both days at 9 a.m. The finals on Wednesday are scheduled for 4 p.m. Port Chester last competed in the Mamaroneck Tiger tournament. Guido won the 145-pound title and Rodrigues was a runner-up at 113.
