HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. Teresa W. Sherwood, 94, a lifelong resident of Hastings-on-Hudson, died Monday, April 2, at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry.
Sherwood was born June 22, 1917, in Yonkers. She was married to the late George A. Sherwood, who died in 1979.
She is survived by her daughters, Georgette (Thomas) Donatone and Loretta (Joseph) Speckman, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sherwood was also predeceased by a grandson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Hastings Funeral Home in Hastings-on-Hudson. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Matthews Church in Hastings-on-Hudson. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry or St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church.
