GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Lee F. Jackson students, teachers and administrators spent part of the day on Wednesday, enjoying the works Dr. Theodor Geisel Seuss, or Dr. Seuss. The day of school-wide learning and reading was in honor of the birthday of the late author.

Students listened to volunteer readers from Woodlands High School and had a great day with our own "Cat in the Hat." Best known as the author of such children's classics as "The Cat in the Hat," "Horton Hatches the Egg." "Horton Hears a Who!", and "Yertle the Turtle," Dr. Seuss would have been 112 this year. It was also the National Education Association's Read Across America Day.
