Women from throughout the region will be welcomed at this event that will highlight the organization’s diverse membership and varied programs.

Exhibits, demonstrations and tours that underscore the organization’s myriad activities will be featured.

While new members are welcomed year round, the early target date ensures the opportunity to attend a series of four orientation luncheons scheduled to begin in October.

Currently, with a membership from 28 communities in Westchester, Rockland and New York City, Scarsdale Woman’s Club offers an extensive program of cultural, educational and philanthropic activities.

New members are offered special benefits in their first year including a reduced membership fee if paid before December 31 and the opportunity to attend all programs sponsored by its sections.

Comprising nine sections, the programs span a spectrum of topics and themes that co-exist with a major focus on outreach projects.

The Committee of 100 for Philanthropy supports 23 charitable organizations with funds generated by the Thrift Committee and Operation Bookshelf which has shipped more that 2,000,000 books to institutions around the world. Day and evening divisions provide convenient timing to meet individual needs.

“Our mission is to create an educational and cultural environment within which members connect with each other, serve the community and grow as individuals,” noted President Marcie Botti .
