Woman ID'd Following Crash Into Tree In York County: Coroner

A 46-year-old woman died following a single-vehicle crash in central Pennsylvania on Thursday, August 4, authorities say.

Patricia (Blevins) Cooper, had been driving west in the 3000 block of Bryansville Road in Delta when he swerved and crashed into a tree around 9:15 p.m., the York County coroner says citing Pennsylvania state police. 

First responders say they found her without a seatbelt on and unconscious, they attempted to resuscitate her, but ultimately she passed due to accidental blunt force injuries at Wellspan York Hospital at 11:12 p.m. as pronounced by Deputy Coroner Carissa McLyman. 

No autopsy will be conducted but a routine toxicology test will be performed, according to the release.

Funeral and memorial service details have not been made public. 

State police continue to investigate the crash.
