MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Spring has sprung. Well, almost.

The Sixth Annual Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on Sunday, March 19. 

Marchers step off at 1:30 p.m. on Mamaroneck Avenue in Mamaroneck.

This wonderful family-friendly event celebrates Irish heritage as well as the American immigrant experience. 

Beginning at Mamaroneck Avenue School, the parade proceeds down Mamaroneck Avenue to Harbor Island Park. This year’s parade will be led by former Mamaroneck Town Supervisor Valerie O’Keeffe, who serves as grand marshal.

The Sound Shore parade features many bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, numerous area Fire Departments, local politicians as well as many diverse groups representing the Sound Shore community from Port Chester south to Pelham. For more details, go to www.SoundShoreParade.com.
