Two Upcoming Events Will Remember Edgemont's Ellen Brody

EDGEMONT, N.Y. -- Two upcoming events will be held at The Jewish Women’s Circle of Chabad of the Rivertowns in the spirit of Ellen Brody, the driver of the SUV in the fatal Metro-North train wreck in Valhalla last week.

Women of the community are invited to attend Queen Esther’s Royal Brunch on Sunday, March 1, at 10 a.m. at the Tarryhill Club House in Tarrytown.

Author and lecturer Slovie Jungreis Wolff will deliver the keynote speech “Sarah’s Tent: Bringing Blessing and Happiness Home."

Queen Esther’s Royal Brunch is open to all women and girls 16 and older.  RSVP is required at www.chabadrt.org/jewishwomen or by calling 914-693-6100.

Members of the community are also invited to celebrate Purim Western-style at Chabad of the Rivertowns on Thursday, March 5, at 5 p.m. 

The evening will include a festive reading of the Book of Esther, followed by celebratory festivities including a performance by Cowboy Keith.

There is no charge for the event, but donations are welcome.
