ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- The Westchester Broadway Theatre presents the rock opera "Godspell" until Sunday.
"Godspell" is based on the last days of Jesus and features dramatized versions of several parables. The musical opened Off-Broadway in 1971, on Broadway in 1976 and has been played in various revivals and touring companies.
John Fanelli directs the Westchester Broadway Theatre production with musical director Bill Stanley, and associate director and choreographer Jonathan Stahl. The crew includes production stage manager Victor Lukas, set designer Steve Loftus, lightning designer Andrew Gmoser, sound designer Jonathan Hatton and costume designer Matthew Hemesath.
The production stars Kareema Castro, Xander Chauncey (as Judas), Josh Kenney, Greta Kleckner, Nicholas Park, Devon Perry, Nathan Andrew Riley, Gilbert D. Sanchez (as Jesus), Corinne Scott, Sarah Smithton, Karley Willocks and Jonathan Stahl.
