The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains from 6-8:30 p.m.
“It gives the community a great opportunity to support an organization that’s 120-plus years old,’’ White Plains YMCA executive director Tom Hay said. “It’s part of the fabric of the community.”
The event features specialty dishes from X20, Teitel Brothers, Arthur Avenue Restaurant, The Great American BBQ, Antonees Catering/The Old Stone Mill, Angelina’s Ristorante, Crown Plaza Hotel, Rita’s Ice Custard, 808 Bistro and more.
Each specialty dish will be paired with a wine selected by Zachy’s Wine & Liquor.
While guests enjoy the tasty dishes, they’ll also get the added benefit of knowing that they support the YMCA and its wide range of programs.
“We have programs for toddlers, teenagers, adults and seniors,’’ Hay said. “We want to help people enrich their lives, and this is the major fundraiser for our annual campaign.”
Funds from the event help ensure that people are not turned away from camp, programs or membership due to a lack of financial resources.
There will also be raffles at the Culinary Experience. Tickets are $85 each and $150 for two people.
The White Plains YMCA recently introduced a new Group Exercise program that offers Bodycombat, Kids Zumba, and Tai JI Quan Maintenance. The Y is also enrolling children for summer camp. For a complete list of YMCA activities, visit its website.
