GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Halloween has officially arrived in Greenburgh, and there's several events and activities planned around town to get you into the spirit of the holiday.

For more happenings this weekend, see our events page.

Friday
Don't miss the Haunted Trail and Barn beginning at 7 p.m. at Hart's Brook and Preserve. It's Part 2 of Hartsdale's annual "Spooktoberfest," put together by the Greenburgh Parks and Recreation Department.

For $8, event-goers can prepare to be spooked as they walk through the preserve's trails and haunted barn and should expect to see a ghost or two along the way, said Recreation Supervisor Priscilla Murphy.

Tickets can be purchased at the Anthony F. Veteran Park's registration office or online. All proceeds will benefit The Hope for Change Foundation.

Saturday
The Halloween Fun Bash is making its return to The Westchester Mall in White Plains. Hosted by the Simon Kidgits Club, kids can participate in arts and crafts and enjoy music and entertainment.

The fun begins at noon on Saturday in Center Court on Retail Level One. For more information, call 914-421-1333.

Sunday
The Edgemont Association will host its 23rd annual Halloween Parade at Crane's Pond. Dress your kids in their best costumes and get your cameras out as they walk the streets of Edgemont with Greenville firetrucks in this family parade that begins at 3:30 p.m.

If you think your house has what it takes to be the spookiest on the block, enter it into the Halloween House Decorating Contest. Contact the Edgemont Association for more information.
