Update, 2:30 p.m. Friday: The Slam Dunk Tournament's finals have been pushed back to Sunday due to Saturday's snow storm. 

Friday, Dec. 28

14th Annual Slam Dunk Basketball TournamentWestchester high schools teams battle for the gold in one of the most competitive tournaments of the year. The tourney, featuring 24 boys and girls teams, runs through Saturday. Elmsford school Alexander Hamilton will compete in the girls bracket. Visit the county center's website for bracket information. Dead On Live: 7 p.m. Rock band Dead On will pay tribute to Grateful Dead classics. The show will also include original arrangements of some of the Dead's most famous songs, including "Casey Jones" and "Sugar Magnolia." Tarrytown Music Hall. 13 Main St., Tarrytown.

Saturday, Dec. 29

The Who's "Tommy": 8 p.m. Based on The Who's 1969 double-album rock opera, "Tommy" is a rock musical by Pete Townshend and Des McAnuff about a young boy's journey from pain to triumph. The musical features such classics as "Pinball Wizard." White Plains Performing Arts Center, 11 City Place, White Plains.
