Tuesday, Dec. 4 Elmsford Annual Christmas Tree Lighting: 6:30 p.m. Begin holiday celebrations with your neighbors at the Elmsford tree-lighting tradition. Take the old-fashioned horse-and-buggy ride to the senior center. Gifts and refreshments will be provided, and remember to bring a camera to take your photo with Santa. Elmsford schools Grady and Hamilton will provide a band and chorus for Christmas music. Elmsford Village Hall. 15 S. Stone Ave., Elmsford.

Wednesday, Dec. 5 Greenburgh Annual Holiday Party: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Celebrate the holiday season with your friends. Enjoy lunch and dance to music by “Tony and Carol” Special presentation by the Woodlands High School Chorus. Multipurpose Center at Anthony F. Veteran Park. 11 Olympic Lane, Ardsley.

Thursday, Dec. 6 Edgemont Jr. High School Winter Concert: 7:30 p.m. Watch your kids or students perform classic Christmas music. Edgemont High School Auditorium. 300 White Oak Lane, Scarsdale.
