Tuesday, Jan. 15 Gangster Squad - From Street Reality to Book Film:  7 p.m. Meet author Paul Lieberman, who inspired the movie "Gangster Squad," starring Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling. Lieberman will sign books and talk about the making of the  movie, for which he helped write the screenplay. Greenburgh Public Library. 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.

Wednesday, Jan. 16 Play 60 Kickoff Challenge: 6 p.m. Bring your kids to participate in Play60, the NFL's national campaign aimed at encouraging kids to be active for 60 minutes per day. Former New York Jets player Fred Baxter will host a night of games and activities while teaching kids about healthy food and lifestyles. R.J. Bailey. 33 W. Hillside Ave., Greenburgh.

Friday, Jan. 18 Capitol Steps - Putting the MOCK in Democracy: 8 p.m. A troupe of former Congressional staffers will satirize the very people who once employed them.
