Monday, Feb. 11 New Film Series Celebrating 1963 Films: Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds": Noon. Enjoy a classic movie that takes place in Bodega Bay, Calif., which suddenly becomes the site of a series of widespread violent bird attacks. The film is the first in the library's new weekly Monday afternoon film series to celebrate the library's 50th anniversary. Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.

Wednesday, Feb. 13 Our Air, Water and Food at Risk: 7 p.m. Ellen Weininger, educational outreach coordinator for Grassroots Environmental Education, will discuss the impacts of hydrofracking on local, state and national levels.
