Friday, Dec. 21

Mr. Dickens Tells A Christmas Carol: 7 p.m. In a theatrical performance, a Charles Dickens story comes to life with Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim. Wander through the Lyndhurst mansion and meet the different spirits and characters as actor Michael Muldoon tells the classic Christmas tale. Lyndhurst Mansion. 635 S. Broadway, Tarrytown.

Saturday, Dec. 22

Danse Elite - "The Nutcracker": 2 p.m. See a contemporary twist of the classic ballet. Danse Elite blends hip hop, jazz, tumbling and an Irish Step Dance into the traditional Nutcracker. Proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross. Tarrytown Music Hall. 13 Main St., Tarrytown.

Black Marble Violin Duo: 2 p.m. Jorg-Michael Schwarz and Karen Marie Marmer will bring their violin skills to Greenburgh. Schwarz and Marmer are the co-directors of the internationally acclaimed baroque ensemble REBEL. Greenburgh Public Library. 300 Tarrytown Road, Greenburgh.
