Friday, Sept. 14

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration: 11 a.m. to noon. Learn how Hispanic culture has influenced modern food. Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford.

Stone Barns Farmers Market: 1 to 4 p.m. The Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture hosts a farmers market. 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.

29th Annual Jeffrey Weiss Memorial Concert: 4 p.m. tour, 5:30 p.m. concert. Take a tour of the mansion, listen to music from Copland House and meet the artists afterward. 635 S. Broadway, Tarrytown.

Hudson River Swim for Life: 8 a.m. Swim 1 or 3 miles in honor of a patient battling cancer. Proceeds benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Kingsland Point Park, Sleepy Hollow.

Tarrytown Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Buy produce, meat, bread, flowers, wine and other items and enjoy live music and crafts. Patriots Park, 121 N. Broadway, Tarrytown.

Sunday, Sept. 16

Livestock Tour: 1 to 2 p.m. Learn how animals are raised on the farm. Stone Barns Center, 630 Bedford Road, Pocantico Hills.

Weekend Storytime: 2 p.m. Join naturalist Greg Wechgelaer for stories, live animals and nature activities. Greenburgh Nature Center, 99 Dromore Road, Scarsdale.
