GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Pedestrians walking on Knollwood will soon be treated to new footpaths, according to Town Hall.
Over the next 2 weeks, a contractor will be installing new sidewalks along Knollwood Road in front of the Health Center and Preserve at Greenburgh says Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.
"I'm very excited about this new sidewalk -- which the Broadview Civic Association has been pushing for in recent years. It marks a much needed pedestrian safety improvement."
There will be temporary lane closures when fill is dumped, but expected to only last a few minutes for driver. When the actual concrete is poured, closures will be longer, but maintained by the contractors flagmen.
