Frohman, 41, is a Chappaqua native who teaches science at Solomon Schechter School of Westchester in Hartsdale, while Marshall works with disabled children in Yorktown and lives in Patterson. The outdoors-loving duo will host the 36-minute episode set in Canada in a free showing.
"Rich, myself and the editor finished the pilot two weeks ago," Frohman said. "The pilot is 36-minutes long slated for a weekly hour-long show. We recently signed with a fantastic lawyer/agent and we're beginning the process of pitching to networks and network production houses."
The "Rogues" take viewers to Canada's Banff National Park fishing for invasive trout species and foraging for wild mushrooms. With the guidance of a featured chef, the duo work hard to masterfully prepare a gourmet feast, with only a camp stove and a campfire to cook.
“Rogues on the Road” focuses on the dynamic pair traveling the world in search of the perfect way to catch, cook, and enjoy a gourmet meal produced by the finest chefs. Using only items fished, hunted, and foraged – plus local produce – they will teach the audience how and where to find ingredients and cook them into a delectable delight.
"Rich and I will provide a short introduction followed by the pilot screening and a question/answer at the end," Frohman said. "We'll wrap up the night back at O'Connor's public house which is directly next door to the theater."
This is a free event, however, the "Rogues" will be accepting donations on behalf of the Antonio's Gift charity, which benefits the medical care of a young Carmel boy who was injured in a car accident.
