The two are obvious Westchester favorites, having tied last year for the 2016 title of DVlicious "Best Ice Cream in Westchester." This year, the prize belongs solely to the three-year-old Village Creamery run by husband and wife team John and Kristin Caldarola.

The cozy shop is all about homemade ice cream made in-house with no artificial coloring. Go HERE for earlier story.

Village Creamery will receive a DVlicious certificate as well as bragging rights to being the "coolest" in the county.

The ice cream parlor is at 32 Broadway, 914-421-1300, www.Villagecreamerysweetshop.com
