ARDSLEY, N.Y. – David Scott Schuman who watched "Jeopardy" nearly every night when he attended Ardsley High School, will appear on the show Tuesday at 7 p.m. on WABC-TV.

"I feel like I've been watching the show forever," Schuman has told The Daily Voice. "I realized that I knew a bit about the questions, and I got better at it. I'm kind of like a sponge in the way that if I see something once, I sort of just know it after that."

Schuman, 21, is a senior at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., studying communications and economics. Over the summer, Schuman worked as a summer intern at Greenburgh Town Hall.

He qualified to be on the show in early 2011 after successfully completing an online "Jeopardy" quiz. However, he was not contacted to actually appear on the show until earlier this year. Schuman participated in a New York City mock taping before being asked to partake in the show.
