The blood drive was originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, but was postponed because of possible inclement weather.

This year’s drive will take place at the White Plains Hospital Auditorium with a post-event gathering at Ron Black’s Beer Hall, 181 Mamaroneck Ave., in White Plains.

Donors must be at least 17 years old and in good health. Identification is required.

The White Plains Hospital Blood Bank is coordinating this blood drive and is available at 914-681-1056 to answer any questions regarding eligibility.

“Giving blood is a great way for your organization, business, or House of Worship to make a positive contribution to the community. The need at this time of year is especially great,” said Jodi Creed, blood donor recruitment coordinator at White Plains Hospital.
