ARDLSEY, N.Y. - Matilda Germana DaSilva, of Ardsley, died Feb. 13 at the age of 93.
She was born April 15, 1918 in Portugal to Joao Daria and Delfina Branco Amorim. In 1947, she married Antonio DaSilva and moved to the U.S. DaSilva enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
DaSilva is survived by her sons John (Patricia) Silva and Anthony Silva and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio in 1984 and nine brothers and sisters.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home in Yonkers. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Anthony's Church in Yonkers. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
