ARDSLEY, N.Y. - Gloria Dudley, a former longtime resident of Ardsley, died Feb. 1 at the age of 82.
Dudley worked as an executive secretary in local schools, including Concord Road School in Ardsley and Westorchard School in Chappaqua.
She was born in New York City on July 25, 1929 to William and Johanna Lewis. Most recently of St. Augustine, Fla., Dudley enjoyed performing as a clown at children's hospitals, traveling, dancing and playing cards with friends and family.
Dudley is survived by her husband Wilbur Dudley, her sons David Dudley and Dan Dudley, her brother William Lewis, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in Florida. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday with Eastern Star Services at 6:45 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Fla. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
