Eileen Masline, 89, of Greenburgh

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Eileen Ryan Masline, 89, of Greenburgh, died April 9.

She was born June 10, 1922, in Port Chester, to the late Bridget Lennon and Thomas Ryan. She married Frederick Masline in Port Chester and was an active member of her community.

Masline was a Girl Scout leader and former president of the PTA. She is remembered by her family for her continual devotion and invaluable wisdom.

She is survived by three children, Terry Masline, of Danbury, Conn.; Patricia Masline-Ostrowski of Parkland, Fla.; and Shelagh Masline, of New York City; and four grandchildren. Masline was predeceased by her husband Frederick; a son, Timothy; a sister, Josephine Ryan Buckley; and a brother, Thomas Ryan.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Mercy in Port Chester. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rye Brook.
