GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Town Supervisor Paul Feiner has announced that a student intern, Russel Kogan, will produce a video for Greenburgh with the music from Pharrell Williams' song "Happy."
Russel Kogan, a sophomore communications major at the University of Delaware, has a passion for storytelling and filmmaking. This past summer he interned with Town Clerk Judith Beville and produced a video featuring some of the summer internship projects that students worked on. Russel expressed an interest in interning with the town again during the winter break. I suggested that he produce a music video about the town of Greenburgh and its residents to the tune of Pharrell Williams' "Happy." In the coming weeks Russel will be taking videos at different Greenburgh locations. If you would like to show your Greenburgh pride by participating in the filming of the video, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and Russel at email@example.com. Many communities around the world have filmed similar "Happy" videos. In this holiday season let's be positive about our town and show our happiness. In recent years Town Clerk Judith Beville and I have tried to match students who are interested in internship opportunities with their interests. If you know anyone who would like to learn about government, please feel free to contact me. We promise to make their experience fun and worthwhile. PAUL FEINER
