HARTSDALE, N.Y. – The competition on Hell's Kitchen is getting hotter.

Hartsdale Chef Dan Ryan and the rest of the men's team managed to avoid an elimination last week after a grueling punishment and dinner service, but Fox warns Tuesday's episode will feature members from both teams on the block.

“Hell's Kitchen’s maître d begs Chef Ramsay for extra help in the dining room, so he sends one chef from each team to assist the wait staff during dinner service,” Fox notes in its scheduling. “But when the chefs-turned-servers send illegible tickets to the kitchen, dinner service is at a virtual standstill. After one of the most infuriating dinner services yet, Chef Ramsay asks each team to nominate two contestants to be put up for elimination.”

Ryan, a 27-year-old chef at X20 in Yonkers, is competing in the 11th season of “Hell's Kitchen” on Fox for a job as head chef at the Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Last week's episode featured Ryan and the rest of him competing to identify proteins in several dishes. Ryan was able to correctly identify his dish, but the men's team lost out to the women's team and was forced spend hours making bread from scratch while the women headed over to a beach house in Malibu.

Both teams then competed to serve breakfast to EMTs, doctors and nurses, with Chef Ramsay treating it like regular dinner service. The men's team started off behind but managed to come back and win the challenge, keeping Ryan and the others safe from elimination.
