Cohen, a Palisades resident, is hosting the fundraiser as part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Annual Man and Women of the Year competition. The event takes place at the Hurricane Grill and Wings on Central Park Avenue.

Guests who purchase an LLS support band for $30 can take part in a three-hour open bar from 6 to 9 p.m. There will also be a number of sports memorabilia items available in a silent auction, as well as a donation booth.

Cohen became involved in cancer research fundraising after his father was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. His fundraising efforts as part of the Man of the Year competition will continue until May 15.

“Together we can help fulfill the mission of the LLS and find a cure for blood cancer once and for all,” Cohen says in his fundraising video.
