GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Things are heating up in the kitchen.
Hartsdale chef Dan Ryan made it through last week's episode of Hell's Kitchen, but an “epic fight” could lead to his elimination on Tuesday according to show previews.
Ryan, a 27-year-old chef at X20 in Yonkers, is competing in the 11th season of “Hell's Kitchen” on Fox for a job as head chef at the Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Ryan and the men's team lost both challenges in last week's lobster-themed episode, leading to fish duty while the women's team enjoyed the day on a yacht. The men spent the day cleaning and gutting fish for Hell's Kitchen and then enjoyed some fish head soup.
“I smell like I just got into a Greco-Roman wrestling match with Shamu... and I didn't win,” Ryan said during the show.
The final dinner service ended with both the men's and women's team getting thrown out of the competition, but Ryan survived elimination.
Tuesday's show will feature the chefs competing to prepare healthy lunches for hungry runners, and Fox says tempers flare during dinner service when a fight breaks out between Ryan and another chef.
