In this role, Saturno will collaborate with incoming graduate students to explore the connection between social work and social justice, and promote dialogue about power, privilege and oppression.

The Professional Development and Self-Awareness Program's mission is to create an environment that acknowledges and challenges injustices while educating students on anti-oppressive social work practices.

Sherry is a national-award winning social worker and a graduate of Columbia.

Saturno is also the director of Sprain Brook Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Scarsdale.
