Westchester, Hudson Valley Celebs Top AARP Sexiest

WESTCHESTER, N.Y. - Several native and resident celebrities from Westchester and the Hudson Valley were among those included on AARP Magazine's 21 Sexiest Men Over Age 50 list for its June/July issue.

Making the cut was 57-year-old Mount Vernon native Denzel Washington. The magazine praised Washington's work as a spokesperson for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where he was once a member.

Also making the list was Bedford property owner Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., 58, and Millbrook resident Liam Neeson, 60. Placing in the runners-up category was Richard Gere, 62, who owns the Bedford Post Inn.

While candidates were chosen for phsyical appeal, they were also judged for brainpower, sense of humor, individuality, artistic ability, generosity and goodness of heart. The men were ranked in no particular order.
