GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Three Greenburgh spa workers were arrested after offering undercover cops more than just a rubdown, police said.
The workers, all from Flushing, Queens, were charged with prostitution after a sting by Greenburgh Police at a pair of Central Park Avenue spas last month. Police say they launched the investigation after receiving complaints of alleged prostitution from Edgemont residents.
Undercover officers posing as patrons at the Aroma Spa, 698 Central Park Ave., said Jizi Piao, 39, offered to engage in a sex act in exchange for money, police said. Piao was charged with prostitution, a misdemeanor, and issued an appearance ticket for Town Court.
The Aroma Spa was cited for unauthorized practice without proper licensing for a masseuse, a felony.
Less than a week later, undercover cops were again offered sex acts for money, this time by a pair of employees at Charming Spa Massage Therapy, 390 Central Park Ave., police said.
Bokja Park, 47, and Mei Xian Piao, 39, were arrested and charged with prostitution. Charming Spa was also cited for unauthorized practice without proper licensing for a masseuse, a felony.
Both women were released on appearance tickets and are due back in Town Court on May 4. The investigation by the Greenburgh Police task force is ongoing.

why not allow them to engage in free commerce?
who are they hurting ?
the storefronts look like clean operations.
do we really need more vacant retail locations on Central Avenue?
Isn't it amazing these Queens prostitutes come to Westchester to try and get their game on! I wish they would stay in Queens, or for that matter THEIR native country!
why is this illegal? the women involved are almost middle aged!
this should be regulated and taxed. what a waste of time and police resources.
live and let live. sheer idiocy and yet another example of stupid state laws.
