GREENBURGH, N.Y. Our Sunday story was born during your town reporters Thursday office hours.
David Stovall, a Hartsdale resident, was frustrated by his ongoing fight to get the Town of Greenburghs permission to refurbish his house so that he could bring his ill father-in-law home.
Stovall saw the office-hours post on our website and went to the Greenburgh Public Library to talk to yours truly, TheDailyGreenburgh.com reporter Luis Garcia. Stovall brought with him documents related to the application, drawings of his house and his father-in-laws discharge papers. He wanted TheDailyGreenburgh.com to tell his story.
I just feel like its the right thing to do. I feel strong about it, Stovall said during the hour-long conversation.
TheDailyGreenburgh.com holds office hours every Thursday, after posting the office hours' schedule on the site the day before. (Office hours are usually from noon to 1 p.m. at the Greenburgh Public Library.)
If you think you have a story worth telling, come stop by and talk. We will be very willing to listen.
