Ardsley FD Celebrates 115th Anniversary in Parade

ARDSLEY, N.Y. – The Ardsley Engine Company had its 115th anniversary parade on Saturday afternoon along with the 105th annual meeting of the Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association.

The parade, which started at the Concord Road Elementary School, headed down Heatherdell Road to Route 9A and past Addyman Square. It then proceeded up Ashford Avenue to Ashford Park. There were several road closures due to the parade.

Fire departments from all over the area took part in the parade and firefighters walked in honor of their respective departments.  There were marching bands and other celebrations throughout the parade as local residents lined the sidewalks to enjoy the festivities.
