Police said an Ardsley resident was the victim of fraud recently after reporting that someone had attempted to use their credit card. Police said the alleged identity theft offender had attempted to open a T-Mobile account with the credit card and charged $2,400.
Meanwhile, a Louis Vuitton bag was stolen out of an Infinity vehicle in Ardsley on July 13, police said. The value of the bag and its contents make the alleged theft a grand larceny. Police said the owner of the bag was dropping off their kids at day camp at the Concord Road School. Upon returning to the car the bag was missing police said. There are no suspects at this time.
There have also been a series of drivers operating with suspended licenses recently in Ardsley with five drivers being busted for the offense since July 13. All were pulled over by police for various traffic violations.
